I have a lot of thoughts of water lately so I wrote this... something.
The person it is directed to will most likely never read it, but I guess that's beside the point. being able to Get over the writers block some times is a very good thing.

Water all around me, surrounding me
Water above me, below me.
Reaching as far as I could see and beyond
Water in all directions, I could not escape.
I tried to reach out but you pulled away
Watching from the surface as the water carried me away
I lost sight of you but the water kept me
Are these walls my prison or my protection?
For the water knows, she sees all, she doesn't forget.
She will save me from what you have become.

Water, healer
Your song calms my tormented thoughts.
I call out to you, to keep me safe
away from one who once loved me
Water, cleansing
Let me dance once again in the rain
Let it fall all around me
And wash all these tears away.
Water, home
Take me down to the deepest sea
Teach me your song that it may become my own
For I know now where I belong

Water all around me, surrounding me
Water above me, below me.
You try to reach out but I pull away
letting the water carry me away
You watch me go down, slowly out of sight
A feeling of peace, of completeness
fills my soul as I begin to dissolve
I become water
I am one with her
Ever changing, ever moving.
You call for me, now that I'm gone.
Uselessly grabbing fists full of water.
Trying to bring back what you never thought worth keeping
You find nothing.

If I dream about water, it usually means I gotta take a piss in real life.

I'm not much of a poetry person but I really enjoyed reading this. I felt as if I were in the water.

Oh, sad and cleansing.

There's an app for ocean, rain and storm sounds. This made me think of it. I listen to it when I'm trying to write.

I liked the overall meaning here, The section that mentions the walls however distracts away from the water theme a little I think. There is also some places where there are too many words on a line, which prohibits smooth (as water) reading.

I enjoyed it though, it really put me in a cool mood.
